Music is Where my journey begins.
From my first piano keys to every note that follows.
I first started playing piano at age 5, and it quickly became part of who I am. Music wasn’t just about notes or practice — it was about discovering something new inside myself.
Since then, I’ve successfully completed three ABRSM grades and I’m now working on Grade 4, building skills that challenge me to reach higher every year.
In the summer of 2024, I performed part of the song Zombie with my Uncle Michael in New York on guitar.
It was the first time I played with a musician from my family, and it made me realize how exciting it is to create music with others. That experience became a spark for what came next.

Sharing music with family.
The joy of playing together for the very first time.

Curiosity fuels creativity.
Inspired by family, driven by determination.
My Nani had given me a guitar when I was just four years old, but I never really used it. After playing with my Uncle Michael in New York, I felt inspired to finally take it seriously.
Back in Dubai in November 2024, I decided to commit. I even insisted on paying for Simply Guitar so I could teach myself. At first my dad thought it might be a passing phase — but soon enough I was practicing every day, learning chords, melodies, and entire songs on my own.
Not long after, I had a conversation with my dad about replacing my old digital piano. Instead of getting another piano, we agreed on a MIDI controller. That single decision changed everything.
The controller opened the door to an infinite library of digital instruments, synths, and sounds. It meant I could continue my piano training while also learning how to compose and produce music using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) — Ableton Live.

That was the gateway to my journey as a music producer.

One keyboard, endless sounds
From piano practice to infinite possibilities.

When inspiration meets opportunity
A night that changed how I hear music.
On July 14, 2025, I met Mr. Ricardo Romaneiro, a Juilliard-trained composer and family friend who also works in Ableton. That evening, we sat together, for three hours. He guided me through advanced features, layering sounds and melodies until we finished what became Star Trails.
It was the most inspiring creative moment of my life — the realization that producing music is about both feeling and technology. That night taught me that anything I imagine can become sound if I’m willing to experiment and learn.
Alongside music, I also love writing poetry. Some of my poems are imaginative, like Six Ways to Look at the Sun; some are funny, like I Tried to Touch a Fly; and some are personal, like I Love Layla.
So far, I haven’t written full songs yet — but I plan to. In the future, I want to transform my poems into lyrics, blending words and melody to tell stories through music.

Words waiting for music
Poetry today, lyrics tomorrow.

This is only the beginning
Every song is a step into the future.
I’m still at the start of my music journey. Every new song I create, every instrument I learn, and every performance I give is another step forward.
My dream is to keep exploring, keep sharing, and keep growing as NyX — because music isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.
